As Senior Government Relations Representative, Wendy represents The Conservation Fund to the Executive Branch, U.S. Congress, and non-governmental organizations regarding federal conservation policy and funding priorities, with a focus on the Land and Water Conservation Fund and the Federal Land Transaction Facilitation Act. Wendy works with western Congressional delegations and key authorizing committees to conserve wildlife and fish habitat, promote sportsmen and outdoor recreation access and opportunities, build strong local economies, and preserve American history through federal conservation policy and appropriations. She is the Fund’s lead realty liaison with the Bureau of Land Management and National Park Service.


Wendy has over 15 years of legislative, public service, and non-profit experience. She spent a decade working in Congress, including serving six years as Senior Energy Adviser to U.S. Senator Mark Udall (D-CO). She holds a M.S. in Environmental Policy from the University of Michigan School for Environment and Sustainability and a B.A. in Environmental Policy from Davidson College.
