Mark Cason 205x250As Senior Government Relations Representative, Mark represents The Conservation Fund with the Executive Branch, United States Congress and non-governmental organizations. His work focuses on advancing conservation policy and Congressional appropriations to protect land, water and wildlife. Mark is the lead liaison with the U.S. Department of Transportation, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Federal Emergency Management Agency and works closely with Congressional offices representing southeastern states.

Mark joined The Conservation Fund in 2017 and brought with him 14 years of diverse legislative and government affairs experience. He has worked at the American Society of Landscape Architects, Society for Neuroscience and as a legislative advisor to former U.S. Representatives Steve Kagen (WI) and Jim Davis (FL).

He holds an M.A. in Public Policy from New England College and a B.S. in Business Administration from Alabama A&M University.
